Wonderful attitude for a monarch. Some democratically elected leaders
could do well by adopting such an attitude!

Me, too -- I fell into the trap. I don't keep the numbers straight very
well, either!
So I sit corrected.

Me, too! I just finished reading David McCullough's _John Adams_, so I
could very well have thought of George III, for Pete's sake!

Well, it whizzed right past me, too. So we're both out!

I really should do better because I'm always supplying the names that Keys
can't ever remember, but my own memory is slipping a few dozen cogs these
days.

The media make such a feast of "celebrities" these days, catering to a
certain intellectual level. They could do better by trying to RAISE that
level! As my mother said, great minds discuss ideas, average minds
discuss things, small minds discuss people. (argh.)
Unless, of course, it's great historical people, such as we discuss, right?
Right?
Oh, well . . .

Gee, I'd like to be rich and obscure. Well, I got it half-right, as I'm
pretty doggone obscure.

Heh!

The only way I get attention entering a room is if I come in punning!
Then I usually quickly go out running! (for my life . . .)

Sometimes the latter thinks it's a valid substitute for the former.
Veloci--the line is blurry, but that's just my vision--raptor
