I can't believe the anti-male bigotry of this Telegraph article. I quote: >25pc of youths are revealed to be criminals >By Philip Johnston, Home Affairs Editor >(Filed: 26/01/2005) > >One in four boys aged 14 to 17 has been classified as a serious or >prolific offender by a Home Office study published yesterday. Hey Home Office, I've got your classification hanging right here! Honest to God, one can understand when they bash men, but when they go after teen boys, that's too much. > One in four boys, with nothing to live for, is classified as a > serious or prolific offender. I'll second that. There were once people who would teach these boys to lead non-violent, productive lives. They were called _fathers_. Now they have their redoubtable "working mothers," her parade of boyfriends, and the anti-male sexist teachers with whom they spend most of their time. Dad may be allowed to visit twice per month, if the kid is lucky. So, of course, the Telegraph is shocked and amazed when such boys don't develop into productive men, and instead of thinking how they might help these troubled youths, they just accuse, blame, and bash. It's a wonder you don't burn crosses on our lawns." - Nick Danger [...] --- UseNet To RIME Gateway {at} 1/26/05 2:47:38 PM ---* Origin: MoonDog BBS, Brooklyn,NY, 718 692-2498, 1:278/230 (1:278/230) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 278/230 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
