Mystic seems to be popular with new sysops.
Sadly it is not open source, and the author is currently unavailable, but it
seems that he told some people he will reappear ... time will tell.

You do not have to use Mystics tosser, but can use an external one instead.

But keep in mind that in the current version QWK is broken, and chances are
that you get the same MSGID when you upload REP packets with more than one
message :(

It is JAM only.
I converted my messagebase from Squish to JAM, as Squish has some limitations
regarding reply handling.
JAM does not offer those restrictions, apart from that they are very similar.
