        Nice hit, right on the nail, Nancy. I think that this only
   goes for a BW door. I do not use such a door but I have had to
   reset a "last read" messages more than once before. What I do is to
   go into the BBS and use the "last read" message number, it is a guess
   but I make sure that I go back sufficiently for the purpose.

                Worked for me.
