More info.  Here's the whole section of ASP code, I was looking too
narrowly, forgetting that the ALT was a TEXT entry to describe missing
graphics.  I believe this needs an properly structured else line (just now
starting to look at ASP programming, so this is WAY below my pay
grade....LOL>.
