Answer: This often happens with MPEG-4 files produced with Nero software.
You have to use an alternative decoder for MPEG-4 instead of QuickTime.

1. Download and install the 3ivx codecs from 3ivx.com. 2. Run our software,
select "Advanced | File Parsers" menu. You will see a "File
Parsers" dialog.
3. Select "MP4" on the left. You should see "QuickTime
Decoder" and "File Source + 3ivx Splitter" on the right. 4.
Select "QuickTime Decoder", and click the "Move Down"
button so "File Source + 3ivx Splitter" appears as the first
item. 5. Close the "File Parsers" dialog. 6. Clear the conversion
list, then add your mp4 files again.
