One would think that Barry Sheerman would want the _entire_ population
of his country to be productive. Apparently, he's satisfied if only
half of them produce.

Par for the course. It happens all the time here. People come up with
study after study after poorly-done study that supposedly demonstrate
female superiority. No one says a thing, but that quack biology
professor said she got "physically ill" when she heard Summers'
comments. It was like watching Jean Kelly put the back of her hand to
her head and exclaim, "Good heavens! I'm going to faint." Perhaps if
I sent her a derisive letter, she'd drop dead.
