QUOTATION: The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men

ATTRIBUTION: Edmund Burke (1729–1797), Irish philosopher, statesman. 
Attributed.

Ascribed in various forms to Burke, though never found in his writings. 
Possibly it is a distillation of the words found in Thoughts on the Cause
