Hi. You're on the right track, so let's try to refine it. Sample case:
you dial 1-800-842-8866, wait up to 10 seconds (but no longer) after
dialing the last 6 to get an access-code prompt, dial 7069183, wait up
to 6 seconds (but no longer) for it to be verified and then dial the
phone number (1-212-999-1234).
Solution 1: Program dial prefix I to ATDT18008428866,,,,,7069183,,,
and the FON-file phone number to `I12129991234 or `I1-212-999-1234.
Solution 2 (mandatory if your access code plus the requisite number of
delay commas before & after it total more than 15 since Solution 1
illustrates the maximum-length string you can assign to a single
prefix): Program dial prefix I to ATDT18008428866,,,,, and dial prefix
J to 7069183,,, and the phone number to `I`J1-212-999-1234 (with or
without the optional hyphens. If you've not overridden your modem's
factory default S8=2 setting, each comma represents a 2-second delay, so
adjust the number of commas before & after the access code as required.
If this doesn't resemble your actual case closely enough for you to
figure out what you need to do, please explain your requirement in more
detail, including the delay times required (determined from timing a few
manual calls on your voice phone) and the length (but NOT the content)
of the access code.
And finally, when you get it working, DON'T dial any of the numbers that
use this prefix while others can read your screen, since your access
code WILL probably be visible until a modem session is established or
you abort the call.
Cheers ... and good luck!
