Dumb question: Since when do you go through customs and
immigration at the city of departure on an overseas flight?
The airline will want to know you have a passport and any
required visas or upon your arrival overseas, the airline will
get one lulu of a fine from the foreign government and you stand
to be deported.
Of course you could always say you are a refugee fleeing
Argenbright Security and a government that lets such things
happen.
Actually, if you did run into immigration problems in Japan, just
ask well demand, to have the U.S. Embassy intervene on your
behalf. That is one of the reasons why you pay the taxes you do!
