i did the nslookup and would not have taken that ds3 portion as an
indication of what kind of connection there was...

well, that's the thing... apache does take the IP but i have it configured
for "HostnameLookups ON" so as to not have to run a seperate
process later on to gather that info for my stats analysis stuff... maybe
it isn't all that important to know that i have x visitors from dallas tx
on comcasts network but it is interesting... awstats and webalizer both
agregate these items and i've been watching them for years... not that it
really means anything, i guess...
do you gather and process stats on the locations of your visitors or are
you one of those huge shops that has so much traffic that you simply don't
even log it?
