We've secretly replaced Jay P Hailey's regular coffee with "Re:

I'm sure that was as it was intended...to contrast with the celebrity
Potter has amongst the wizardly clans.
About halfway through "Goblet of Fire" and continuing through
"Order of the Phoenix" the series has morphed from "juvenile
fantasy fiction" to "mainstream fantasy fiction" - mainly
because the POV of the main protaganist has had to, through necessity.
Most all the characters are rounding up nicely. The only one- dimensionals
left are the Slytherin youth. Snape and Hagrid have become nicely meaty in
the last couple of volumes, Hagrid in "Goblet" and Snape in
"Order."
Dumbledore's confession/apology to Potter in the chapter "The Lost
Prophecy" in "Order" is some of the best one-on-one
character dialoge I've read in quite a while...particularly in the fantasy
genre. The patience of the mature, gently explaining his error of omission
to the recklessness of youth. Rowling made me /care/. That's all you can
ask a writer to do.
