I'm not from the panhandle, but live in Central Florida.
Basically April is the last month for most of your warm season
veggies. There are a few you can grow during the summer, lima
beans, southern peas, sweet potatoes and okra. August is when
you'd need to be ready to start your fall garden. I think you'd
be able to grow most anything then.
