RN ->I was having problems running a clipper application on an
->AMD-P100 chip. I would get the division by zero error. The
->problem was resolved by switching OFF the internal cache in
->the BIOS setup. I got this invaluable information off
->comp.lang.clipper were the subject has been touched upon. I didn't
->try PIPELOOP.EXE, since the program worked fine after turning
->off the cache. Presumably it would do the same thing.
I doubt PIPELOOP.EXE would work, as it's not a TSR and was written for
the Cyrix 6x86 chip by Cyrix. Turning off the internal cache had to
make a big difference in speed, didn't it?
Do you still have the message from the fellow who posted what
exactly AMD said the problem was? I didn't save it and need a copy. I
have someone who may want to tackle the problem.
Thanks,
Raymond Pesek
