I never disputed that SSD would give greater read and possibly write
performance. Only that that was something i *needed to have*.

I uses SSDS on my desktops for faster booting and program load. They are
pointless on my networked server. I cant deliver files TO it or FROM it
faster than the netrwork and that is slower than SATA spinning rust OK?
