Seamless windows is an OS/2 term. It refers to running Windows
applications on the OS/2 desktop rather than visibly invoking Windows
to occupy the whole screen and parcel it out among Windows apps.
Excalibur is a Windows based BBS product that was written using the
Borland engine and it was interesting to see that in both cases,
problems in running the programs "seamless" disappeared when run
full-screen.
The Paradox problem, which is relevant here, is that when you are
designing a form and want to set the properties of a field object by
reference to the data model, the pick lists for fieldnames do not stay
open long enough to select one if Paradox is run in seamless mode.
Since the code that is executing is Microsoft's Windows, the attitude I
get from Borland "we don't support OS/2" is unacceptable. If Borland
wants to discuss it with me, I'll be happy to talk with them.
