subject: relaxed tendon

hello all,
Has anyone around come across a foal with relaxed tendons where the fore
feet have tendon that seem to strech rather than support the weight?
The first treatment of the foal I know of was to keep her quite, splint
the joint, ect. This seemed not to help.
Next the vet suggested working the horse. It was "encouraged" to walk a
bit and the day after the first ten min session improvement was noted.
The horse & mom are now turned out and improvement is better by the day.
What is the future for the horse? What limitations will it have in the
way of preformance? Will it require future special care?
Thanks
