I need your advice/comment/help on setting up a first time BBS.
Kindly inform me of the following:
1) Minimum setup for a BBS System.
2) Extra options/Hardware that can make a BBS successful and attractive.
3) Support or Contacts for Authors
4) How to be an Internet gateway and to have FIDONet Echos
5) What is the best software(s)/operating system to use to operate a BBS
6) How is it possible to have more than 1 node? What setup needed?
7) Around how much will it cost for a normal BBS setup?
8) Where will I find files/programs/CDROM to update my file directories?
9) The best time to operate a BBS if you don't have a dedicated line?
10) What advantage it will be to me when I set it up?
11) How can I return the expense I made with the setup and if
    possible, earn profit?
I love computers so much, and a BBS is already in the drawing board as
one of the things I will set up together with other business I'm
planning to start in the near future... I'm also planning to open a
medium to large computer shop which will be dealing with sales/service
of computer softwares and hardwares and if possible a franchiser of a
brand name PC from abroad...
