I guess that's a duh moment for me.  I have foxit installed and had it make
itself the default for PDF's upon installation.  If I double click a .pdf
file it opens in foxit, but if I'm browsing and click a link to a .pdf file
it opens in Adobe (I am assuming because adobe has a browser plugin and
foxit doesn't, if I remember correctly).

I guess I could disable the Adobe plugin.

Seems odd that foxit doesn't install a plugin for browsing when you tell
the foxit installer to make foxit the default .pdf viewer.
