Uhm, where in my message did I EVER say that they were made up of

I've heard, from a reliable source, that Jeff doesn't like Lee making fun of
him (and quite frankly, I'm with Lee on this one) and he's tried to demand
Fidonet higher-ups to /force Lee to apologize to him/.  Really.

I personally think he's part of a
extreme-right-wing-end-of-the-world-hellfire-and-brimstone (whew!) group that
has announced that they're trying to take over Fidonet so when the end of the
world comes, they'll have a reliable means of communications.  Really-I'm /NOT/
making this up.  Evidently this group doesn't realize they could just go start
their /own/ FTN network, but...

So, well, there you go. :)

(For everyone else, Janis is the one who told me about Jeff's wanting an
apology and how she was receiving odd messages about people joining
Fidonet.  I told it as she told it to me, so if she's redacting that
through her odd assumption that I said it was "ex-fidonet
sysops", that's her problem.)

No, it's not, Janis.  Just because I believe that OS/2 is the rat's ass,
you don't see me out there beating people over the head in it in
inappropriate echoes.  You don't see me making snap judgements about people
and acting arrogant, pedantic and immature and invoking God's name to
promote my own agenda.

You even agreed with me on the phone the other day about this-why are you
suddenly doing an about-face on this in public?

I consider you a friend, but when you start mis-quoting me, taking what I
say completely out of context and then trying to chastise me in public
about it, that's where I draw the line.
