I only use them now when I need DC> CDR support to get a system crash cured. The win9x safety startup disk does use the ramdrive of course. I will use a ramdrive when I need to process a lot of data really fast. Something for example that would thrash the hd a lot, like sorting many msgs by date, or converting compression formats. A ramdrive really makes batch things fly in comparison to the hd.
