That's what I do. As much by necessity as by choice - my laptop's clock
battery expired years ago, and it doesn't keep time unless it's powered on
or in standby. My point was that I don't have to apply patches to fix
vulns, run spyware and virus checkers, or even run a firewall if I don't
want to. I look at all the discussion here of such things and winder if I'm
missing something? ... naahhh.
