 Thanks for your assessment of the Internet echos. Yes, one of the
moderated newsgroups would be where we would probably end up over there,
but the perspective here as well as there would be somewhat unique.
While we occasionally get to talk about high end stuff here, I consider
AUDIO a little more user oriented than a specific group type like tubes
or only equipment with snob or professional usage, so, that would be the
niche that we could fill there on the internet. I'm now looking into
getting listed as a rec. newsgroup and mailing lists as the two viable
options currently.
I've been lurking in most of the audio newsgroups, trying to determine
how each one approaches things, that is, if an approach is possible on
these things. Moderation is something that is really required to
maintain a quality control on things, but I try to keep interference
with the echo to the minimum, other than my opinions on various things.
