The other thing nasty about the HP all-in-one is that when it thinks the
print cartridge needs replacing you can't use the scanner.
I bought a friend a Canon Pixma MP810 all-in-one ( has separate print
cartridges for each color ) for Christmas this year. She's been complaining
about the price of color cartridges so I'll see how it works out for her.
I've also been looking at the small color lasers. That way I'd just need
one networked printer but I'm not sure about the cost of the consumables.
