| subject: | Re: HP`s Time-Bombed Printheads |
From: Gary Britt KXP1091, wow that brings back memories. I had a Panasonic KXP laser printer that worked great in the dos word days. The only reason I gave it away was they never developed proper windows drivers for the thing and it printed everthing as a graphics image very slowly under windows. Under dos it download soft fonts and printed better/faster than the HP Laserjet II's of the time. I've still got an HP Laserjet II wasting space in the attic somewhere. I paid $1800.00 for that HP Laserjet II in 1988 dollars. Gary Jim Adams wrote: > I have a printer that I still use for printing checks.
