My personal website now points people DIRECTLY to the books, and the books (after a brief blurb) go directly to the basket. A friend of mine just sold her memoirs to [insert biggie here] for 250K USD. Another friend of mine has been selling articles left and right in his first year in this business, for over a buck a word in many cases.) I've decided that from "now on" -- I either get paid for EVERY LAST WORD I write, or it just doesn't get read. (Unless it's already in an online journal.) How's that for a change in perspective? ;-) -- Quinn Tyler Jackson http://members.shaw.ca/qjackson/ http://members.shaw.ca/jacksonsolutions/ --- Rachel's Little NET2FIDO Gate v 0.9.9.8 Alpha* Origin: Rachel's Experimental Echo Gate (1:135/907.17) SEEN-BY: 24/903 120/544 123/500 135/907 461/640 633/260 262 267 270 285 SEEN-BY: 774/605 2432/200 @PATH: 135/907 123/500 774/605 633/260 285 |
