Screw the proper path.  The road less traveled was good enough for

All Zen ultimately sounds like the babbling of a damned fool, but
down that path lies enlightenment, Grasshopper.  'Tis indeed a
difficult path to follow and one will stumble upon many a stumble-bum
-- such as your aforementioned "Rick" -- but in the end the path less
traveled offers vistas that do not tittilate the minds of those who
take the common road.  And after all, as we are wont to say in here:
If it's easy then it's probably not worth doing.
