It really is spring here now. The forsythia is in bloom; so are some of
the cherry trees and the Russian tulips. The grass is greening. It was
in the sixties yesterday, and will be again today. I imagine by next
weekend we will need to start thinking about mowing the lawn. In our
house we only think about it for the first few weeks, until the
neighbors are looking askance at our long grass, and shaking their
heads.

I think that surgery is pretty successful. Do they have her on "water
pills", then, to reduce the fluid levels in her legs?
