Was the empty cowling faired over? My #1 son has told me of their patrols off 
the coast of Vietnam while looking for small boats bringing in guns to the 
Viet Cong that one engine of the P-3 was shut down to stretch fuel. They flew 
out of Uta-Pao, RTNAF, Thailand.
