We have lots of private comps with which we interact/send patients to. Were one to use an OS which one knew could be remotely deactivated (possibly accidentally) in a healthcare application upon which "patient care" depended & were the worst to happen & a deactivation to cause damage/death of a patient then one could be looking at a stretch in prison on manslaughter charges. Not many are willing to risk their liberty on someone else's product. MS have apparantly been promising a "dependable" Vista w/o wga etc.etc. for use in such situations but then....you've got a non-std OS with all the fun wot comes with that.
