Ah, but you don't travel at relativistic velocities and you have rest mass. Actually, it's the rest mass that keeps you from traveling at light speed. With photons, when they lose energy, the law of conservation takes it out of their frequency and wavelength. This shows up in what physicists call the red shift. Alternatively, you can add energy to a photon and it will show up as a blue shift. In either event, they can and will travel only at light speed. > So Someone is messin' with the math (as often happens in particle > and high-energy physics as far as I'm concerned). Could be. Starting with arrggh!-gebra, mathematics is just a matter of juggling numbers. ===== Fear of corrupting the mind of the younger generation is the loftiest of cowardice. --Holbrook Jackson >From the Lair of Fang-Face DreamWeaver and The Encyclopedia Michael Nellis http://www.angelfire.com/scifi/dreamweaver/index.html __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
