subject: Early Desktop Publishing

According to Wikipedia
 Desktop
Publishing was invented around 1983. And the Commodore 64 was already
around that year.

Although not deemed suitable for that at first there were some programs
for it. Or at least tried to.

My question is what was the first program for the Commodore 64 for
Desktop Publishing? I seem to recall a friend had a copy of some of these
programs somewhere around 1985-1987. IIRC the boot screen or some other
screen had a bird's feather. Does anyone know what program I am looking
for?

I use a Unix based operating system, which means I get laid almost as often
as I have to reboot my computer.
