  I have ported this DOS utility to run under OS/2. It converts from SOUP
  It's freeware for personal use. Nevertheless, if you are a Fiodnet Node

  This is the feature list:
SOUP2PKT FEATURE LIST
 - Converts Fidonet PKTs to soup packets to be sent with an soup mail
 - Converts soup packets to PKTs to use your fidonet software to manage
   internet email and news groups.
 - Converts from FTN *.MSG to soup.
 - Can handle mailing lists as if they were echoconferences.
 - MIME compatible (mostly).
 - Decodes base64 MIME compliant attachments.
 - Encodes file attachments and sends them as MIME compliant messages.
 - Decodes uuencoded attachments.
 - Can trim HTML codes for text/html mime messages.
 - Can be used as a gateway for sysops to serve email and newsgroups to
   users and requires no sysop intervention.
 - Has a built-in address book.
 - Trashes annoying junk mail.
 - Can handle multiple email addresses.
 - Can handle an unlimited number of newsgroups.
 - Can be used to route fidonet packets through the internet (FrontDoor and
    outbound style)
 - Handles FTPMail very comfortably.
 - Compatible with the old UUCP gating style
 - Automatically breaks down messages with too many lines.
 - Works with binary and unix soup formats
 - Reads and writes quoted-printable, iso-8859-1, 7bit and 8bit messages.
 - Tested with vsoup, souper for OS/2 and windows, UKA_PPP and wssoup.
 - DOS and OS/2 versions available.
New features in the soup2pkt 3.0 beta (late state):
 - DOS version runs in 32bit protected mode.
 - New commands to make it more configurable.
 - Very powerful filtering capabilities.
 - Prettier display.
 - All limits have been raised to 1024.
 - POINT command can route out of your system.
 - Encodes attachments a lot faster.
 - Many bug fixes and little improvements.
