I don't know if it's something every published writer must endure, or even most. But, if it helps, what you're feeling is natural ... I surely would feel it in your place. Time and distance sometimes heals such things -- e.g. after HAVING to drive that stretch of road again, the feeling that the car will break down just there eventually fades (but ghosts seem to linger). Sometimes it requires actual Counselling, with a skilled professional (and how do we find one of those?) And you HAVE been violated, emotionally mugged, as it were. I understand your reticence at comparing yourself to someone who has experienced it physically, but that which happens to our minds is no less real, and harder, often, to heal. Wish there were an easy cure. Wish I had something more useful to offer.... know, here, you're among friends. =hugs= -B ====== The fact that no one understands you doesn't mean you're an artist. --"Useful Work Phrases" (unknown) ====== As soon as we take one thing by itself, we find it hitched to everything in the universe. --John Muir --- Rachel's Little NET2FIDO Gate v 0.9.9.8 Alpha* Origin: Rachel's Experimental Echo Gate (1:135/907.17) SEEN-BY: 24/903 120/544 123/500 135/907 461/640 633/260 262 267 270 285 SEEN-BY: 774/605 2432/200 @PATH: 135/907 123/500 774/605 633/260 285 |
