Give it a rest.  Jefferson criticized the practices of *some*
religious leaders, not Christianity in general.  He also
wrote.statements on *both* sides of several issues during his
lifetime, including slavery.  Try doing thorough research some
time instead of stopping when you find something that *seems* to
support your predetermined conclusion.
