Hi Jan,
You asked:
JL>I'm having problems with the following:
JL>I have a cdrom that contains long filenames (longer than the 8.3
tandard).
JL>Under plain MSDOS this cdrom is fully readable, although
JL>the filenames are cut off at 8.3 naming.
JL>Under OS/2 the cdrom is fully readable as it should, so all
JL>long names are present.
JL>In a DOS box under OS/2 however, only those filenames that
JL>meet the 8.3 specs are shown, the rest is gone.. :-((
JL>This is very annoying, because I want to use the cdrom on my bbs, which
runs
JL>in a DOS box under OS/2 Warp.
JL>Is there a solution for this problem ??
JL>(except changing to a OS/2 BBS program.. :-))
Not that I know of. Using OS/2 BBS software is the best solution.
