MM>list your top five MM>1. Goldfrapp Supernature MM>2. Erasure Nightbird MM>3. Depeche Mode Playing The Angel MM>4. Bodies Without Organs Prototype MM>5. Gorillaz Demon Days Wow! Listing the (my) five best would be hard...because 2005 was such a terrible year for meaningful and/or REAL and good music. I like your picks of Depeche Mode and Gorillaz, sure 'nuff. All I can think of is NIN for 2005, past them. Velvet Revolver was a cool reinvent too, if they qualify for 2005. I just hate the "American Idolization" of American music. We need a early '90's kind of kick in the butt again. Cobain kicked us out of hair bands...someone/something needs to kick us out of this terrible period. Of course here are still people listening to whatever they want/too their faves (meaning there are still the punks and metal heads), but I appreciated the early '90's period when MTV actually played videos, for instance. All kinds of videos! And those videos were good! SOMETHING! Something hard! What can I say. I need something hard! Don't go there! ;) You know what I mean!
