Nope... he never did get into that...  not even really into bbs'ing,
except to look over my shoulder once in a while... or to d/l message
packets for me when I was out of town, back when things were slow enough
that if you didn't get on every day or so, you probably *wouldn't* be
able to get all the messages...   My son, as a teenager, discovered
bbs's, mostly for games, and some local stuff (flaming, I'm afraid...)
and HE was the one that found genealogy stuff on the bbs, and talked me
into trying it...  He lived to regret it, I think...   Especially
when I* needed MY time on the computer for MY addiction to the bbs's,
and he had to wait for his turn...
