Andre is right in that "most of Canada *isn't* BC." However, he is
wrong if he means that in most of Canada people have neighbors
closer than 100meters distant. Most CANADIANS have neighbors
closer than 100 meters. However, if you randomly plopped your
house down somewhere in the boundaries of Canada, it is very
likely that your nearest neighbor could be dozens of miles away.
It's also likely that you would need a snowmobile to visit
for a major part of the year! ;-) After all, about 1/2 of
Canada has a population density of about one person per 10
square kilometers! Only in Alaska, does the US get that
sparsely populated---although about 1/2 the area of the lower
48 states has a population density of less than 20 people per
square mile. There are a lot of farms and ranches in the Western
US where the nearest neighbor is 5 or 10 miles distant.
