I wonder if worlds like Miri's planet, the Yang/Com world and Magna Roma
are the result not of Preserver interference, but rather the last remnants
of other destroyed quantum realities transferred into the canon Star Trek
universe by resident Qs who didn't want their particular little playpen
completely annihilated.

Of course, you can speculate that the Q are responsible for anything you
want, and I agree it's not exactly innovative. If one considers humanity
(or one of its quantum offshoots) somehow potentially valuable to the Q,
though (as has been more than implied in TNG), then it becomes an
intriguing possibility.

Perhaps Magna Roma and its inhabitants have a different quantum vibration,
or did at one time.
