YES! IF IF IF
the test data is in a real data field, not calculated within the report.
unless calculated in and reported on during a script run.
You can use a script to create a variable and use that variable
in an IIF(test,"",[SomeField]*SalesTax)... (SalesTax a variable)
or
without a script in the report IIF(test,"",[SomeField]*.078) ...
I use the existence of a variable to print Query Criteria at the top
of a report when the report is only a subset of the whole table.
That way the reader can tell if the report is a partial or whole report
of the table.
Now, would someone tell me how to link tables in one report so as
to make a purchase order have multiple pages not related to the report
pages? (I want a report of 3 purchase orders of 2-3 pages each to
show the page numbers of the P.O. not the report... hmmmm?)
Shalom for now!
