| subject: | Re: Best Music of 2005 |
SD>First, I'd like to say hello and introduce myself. I'm Sean, the SD>moderator of MUSIC. :) I've been absent for too long of a time. Hi. And thank you for the info. Being new and all. I've been on local Cit boards for a little while, but I'm new to FIDOnet, BTW. A girl friend told me that FIDOnet is good for more in depth "stuff". Obviously because of the ability to collect ones' thoughts before posting (What with OLRs and such compared to "at the moment" offerings). I agree. SD>CV> early '90's kind of kick in the butt again. Cobain kicked us out SD>CV> of hair bands...someone/something needs to kick us out of this SD>CV> terrible period. SD>Grunge is still very popular in the Pacific Northwest, Really? I still have my Grunge C.D.s, of course. And I'll always keep them. (But I simply was talking 2005 being the topic) SD>In fact, Nirvana just released SD>another CD called "The Best Of The Box" (I think they just released SD>it; could be very wrong and probably am!). After a major fight, the actual members of Nirvana vs. Courtney Love finally agreed to allowing the release of older stuff, 'tis true. And that could have been in 2005. Not sure. And I'm NOT all Grunge! That was but an example. I'm more/most into anything (again) HARD! Although I can appreciate the Cranberries or Toad the Wet Sprocket mellow stuff. OR Gordon Lightfoot or Cat Stevens, etc. I like mellow good stuff too. But that stuff is for bubble baths and candles. I loves me some early TOOL (actually any Tool), and Nine Inch Nails, and...well, you get the picture. Or even early Black Sabbath. Oh well, enough repeating myself. I'll try to offer differing topics soon. ;) SD>CV> What can I say. I need something hard! SD>You really shouldn't say that in public; people might think bad SD>things of you. I DID offer a proviso, didn't I? Hee!
