subject: Husky, smapi and yaqn

I'm trying to recompile my old yaqn code that I placed in SF several years ago.
Back in 2004 when I released it, it worked greate with Husky's smapi. Now,
when I try to use it with the latest smapi, I get several undefined reference
errors.

/usr/lib/gcc/i586-mandriva-linux-gnu/4.1.2/../../../libsmapi.a(api_sdm.o): In
function `SdmCloseArea':
api_sdm.c:(.text+0x2a7d): undefined reference to `Get_Dos_Date'
api_sdm.c:(.text+0x2a8c): undefined reference to `Get_Dos_Date'

There's many more than that. That's just an example.

I'm using smapi 2.2.4 and huskybse 1.4

I also tried to compile huskylib 1.9, but when I did the "ar r
..." it broke
saying that 'xyz' was not found.

I'm trying to read the back postings of this echo to see if somebody posted a
resolution, but I haven't found it yet.

BTW, I'm using Mandriva spring 2007 with all the latest updates.

my GCC is configured as such:
Using built-in specs.
Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
Configured with: ../configure --prefix=/usr --libexecdir=/usr/lib
--with-slibdir=/lib --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info
--enable-checking=release --enable-languages=c,c++,ada,fortran,objc,obj-c++,jav
a --host=i586-mandriva-linux-gnu --with-cpu=generic --with-system-zlib
--enable-threads=posix --enable-shared --enable-long-long --enable-__cxa_atexit
--disable-libunwind-exceptions --enable-clocale=gnu --enable-java-awt=gtk
--with-java-home=/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.4.2-gcj-1.4.2.0/jre --enable-gtk-cairo
--disable-libjava-multilib --enable-ssp --disable-libssp
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.1.2 20070302 (prerelease) (4.1.2-1mdv2007.1)

Any help would be appreciated,

Regards,
Darryl Perry
