Believe it or not, perhaps the answer is yes. After you've spent hours
rying
to get the right software and hardware combinations to get that "economical"
solution going, the SCSI solution may well be cost effective. How much is
your time worth? How long will one solution work vs. the other? How about
long-term compatibility and upgradeability?
Only you can answer for your situation. Don't discard up-front expense as
being the only way to measure cost effectiveness...
