The original message did not say that.....

Version of Opus:
last ran 1.73a (still on a machine)
public node now runs Maximus 2.02
Front end Mailer:
(edited end note)
I hope this helps in your development plans. It seems that a BBS that
"bridges" the internet and fidonet would give the best of both worlds.
Instead of fooling with ansi or rip graphics go right to HTML. Allow a user
to call the system with a SLP or PPP script or as a regular BBS enduser.
Have a system that can make all the needed drop files INTERNALLY like MAX
does. How about an interface to allow the use of PCBoard PPE's or ProBoard
PEX stuff along with the MAX MEX and MECCA.
Don't kill the opus frontend in first release but update it for high
speed modems and current full addressing so it can used as a powerful but
very -easy- point system.
That's my two cents worth.......
