No, I feel like this thing is treating me like an idiot. I right click on the
desktop to change the wallpaper or some other desktop property and it's like
having to wait thru a deliberately long voice mail greeting to do even the
simplest function.

I had to change control panel to classic view because after 20 minutes of
looking I couldn't find half the stuff thats in there.

I turned off windows defender by disabling the service (is there no uninstall
for this crap?) and now I get a message at startup about a service that failed.

I had to disable terminal services because I have no desire to allow anyone
remote access, same for the support option and a couple other places where I
just felt the features were unsafe.

I set it to large fonts because I'm going blind and the stupid thing changed my
desktop icon size, I then changed it back but it still insists on using large
icon spacing.

I wanted to move the recycle bin to the lower right corner but the stupid clock
gaget blocks that whole side of the screen so now it sits about 1/8 of the way
across my screen...

Yeah, so far I have found no new features that make even one of these
annoyances worth tollerating.

Oh, and Microsoft Mail is Outlook Express by a different name. Only thing I've
noticed in this is that they shaded one of the columns in the list of emails
window (the subject is shaded for some stupid reason)

Geo.
