Well, based on all that's included, and the feature sets, the Mac's appear
to be about the same as the fully equipped Dells and HP's.  We have a few
in the company, and they give me FAR less trouble than any of the PC's. 
We've got a good collection of G4's., G5's, 2 iMac's, a couple of G4
Powerbooks.

With the advent of the Intel Mac's, and the two ways to run Windows
programs, it's even less of an issue.

I find the Mac hardware to be better built, and just easier to deal with.
That's just my opinion though,
