I don't -mind- the .jpegs.  If I have one complaint, it's with the
uncompressed ones.  If it's small-ish, say around 20-50k in size, that's
fine.  It's the monster ones in the hundreds of kilobytes of size that are
the real trouble.

If the idea is to generate ideas, I've no problem with that, and I don't
mind them.  But perhaps two a week, one posted on Sunday, the other on
Wednesday?

The problem  with defending  the purity of  the English language is that
English is about as pure as a  cribhouse whore.  We don't just borrow
words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to
beat them unconscious and  rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.
