I used to play some of that stuff, too - back in the '70s and early
'80s. But I really got into Pop-Rock in the '80s and started writing
my own stuff. Still, it might be kind of fun to get together sometime
and do some playing?

Heh. I know the feeling! I write songs, but I've always worked best
with a collaborator. Lyrics are definitely the hardest part for me, too.
I usually end up writing some meaningless, generic garbage just to get
the song finished and then end up not liking it. ;-\

Oh, okay. I didn't know that. I assumed (I know, ..duh!) that they
were different companies. (I hope Garry Lawson sees this message.)
I played a couple of Normans a couple of months ago and thought they
were pretty good for the price.
Does yours have a built in pick-up? If not are you considering one?
If I bought a new acoustic now, I'd have to have one with a pick-up so
I've been casually looking at a few models like that as well as at
after-market pick-ups.
LW> ...it sounds great and I don't need any other acoustic for the moment.
That's kind of how I feel about my Fender acoustic. I've had it for
about 12 years now, and although I'd love to have a Guild or something
else better, there have always been other priorities in my music budget
and so I've made do with it. It's an adequate instrument for song-
writing, which is mainly what I use it for.
Cheers,
Martin
