Hello Nancy, nice talking to you !

NB> I've also resorted to your way when it's just a few echos, or I'm
NB> restarting one that I had given up on for a while. And when I
 NB> couldn't do u/l's, just d/l's...

You have been listed as a missing person here for weeks at the
time. I get my fix/day and never have to go back much. Lately, I
have not lost a .qwk. Using the .ptr would be a fast way of
   recovering this lost .qwk.

NB> You u/l it directly to the bbs, at Your Settings/Offline/Upload PTR.

I have not yet seen this "path". I will go and look for it.
   Thanks much, Nancy.

NB> And, you mentioned earlier that you hadn't had experience with the BW
NB> door... I'm surprised at that, since your other BBS, Juxtaposition,
NB> has the BW door, and I've been using that as one of my backup bbs's.

Do not be too ssurprised, I first got on Juxta, using a C=64
   then a C=128. When I got a PC, I wanted ( needed ) a look alike to
simplify my use and seek a similar way to get to FIDO. Using BW the
way that I did and still do was my way to go. Even on Doc's, I
still use the same procedure....works for me ! I do not even know
what the door would offer me more. I am sticking with my way.

There is now a Mac in the house, for the Lady.
Hey, she was able to change the font last evening.
